The True Story

In 1936 an iconic design within fashion for men was born. The brand was Playboy Footwear and ever since, the trendsetting design of the original Playboy shoe sat ground in the streets, it soon became a great success in Scandinavia, and still is. Driven, designed & produced by Fabian Trading in Copenhagen, the original Playboy shoe became the founding stone for a complete shoe collection for men.

Early years

With over half a century of experience within the shoe business, Fabian Trading soon became a great player on the fashion scene. The design goes hand-in-hand with high quality and is our main focus. The design and production have expanded into a mixture of rough boots, with twisted details, classic shoes & colorful sneakers. If you are a “playboy-walker” you know the majestic feeling – right? And yes we are still going strong, and so is our design & quality! Today Playboy is worldwide! Outside Scandinavia we brand our collections as J.Fabian Copenhagen Etd. 2008.
The street-respect is not only the proof of a real brand but a proof of high quality, unique design & loyalty.
